I like the intimacy of working on a smaller scale. The nuance of detail and subtlety in tiny things is often overlooked and there’s something magical about the whole work fitting into the palm of my hand. Plus, the materials are more cost-effective and it takes up a lot less space in my workshop.
Art heals the wounds of life. It’s an inherently communal experience driven by a need to create; its practice and presence bridge connections between our minds, internally and collectively, allowing our energies to be focused on recognizing beauty rather than on tearing ourselves further down. The Uncouth crew and I are honored to be able to share our creativity with the MHCP community, to assist in their mission of promoting mental health awareness through art in a tiny format!
