Reorganization of MHCP 2024

6/24/24

Mental Health Charity Painters is reorganizing itself presently to become Mental Health Charity Programs.

What does this mean? We will start with only 2 programs and branch out to more as our resources, volunteers, and time can be allocated. For those of you who have been along with us so far, not much. MHC-Painters will still be a major line of effort for MHCP.

John Baggett will be taking over the art and hobby related side of the organization. He will take a more prominent role as the face for the are and hobby side of the community.

Prince Yohannes is moving his focus to Veteran Affairs, and will be looking to expand the organization to other domains in order to have a broader impact to our mission. We feel a bit pigeon-holed, and would like to see where else we can find people interested in supporting our primary cause – Veteran’s Mental Health. This will include Prince working more closely in his community with veteran care, liaising with non-hobby related companies, etc.

All previous plans are still in place (cons, raffles, etc.), but MHCP will start branching out. One avenue that is adjacent to us in Twichland is
the video gaming community and we hope to eventually have a line of effort called MHC-Players.

MHCP is working on a volunteer event pitch page where volunteers will be able to post their local/personal events they may be able to do. We will provide the back end support for things like Raffle sites and (inventory pending) prize support.

If you would like to create an event and request our help please go HERE if you are an artist or someone who would like to donate a prize for our yearly raffle go HERE. our 2024 raffle is set to Launch Aug 1st 2024.

Thank you for your time, and we appreciate all of your support.
